Preventing Workplace Violence

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is focused on providing participants with an increased awareness and understanding of the emerging threat of workplace violence and the steps that can be taken to reduce the likelihood of a serious occurrence in their organization. Topics include emerging issues and trends; workplace violence prevention model; early disagreements; management practices for creating a safe, secure, and respectful work environment; and what to do in the event of an incident.

Managers, supervisors, human resource, security, safety and risk management professionals who have responsibility for or impact the welfare of people and property in an organization should attend this information and action filled seminar.
