COURSE DESCRIPTION: This workshop focuses on introducing participants to the concepts of reengineering, redesign, and process improvement. The workshop assists participants in gaining a full understanding of the appropriate uses of these concepts.
The primary goal of the workshop is to increase participant’s knowledge of how to redesign work processes, systems and organizations applying the principles of reengineering. Additionally, participants will learn how to build a case for process improvement and how to effectively gain management support for the effort. Topics will include identifying the critical success factors; resolving potential barriers and setting strategies; identifying customer needs; anticipating impacts; and determining process performance goals and measures.
