CAROLE JONES

President

Carole Y. Jones is the quintessential entrepreneur whose professional arsenal is immense.  Before joining the leadership team of Sullivan International, she successfully ran her own temporary employment staffing agency, Encore Temps, Inc. She has a broad range of talents and has successfully owned and operated other businesses in early childhood education, as well as sports and entertainment marketing (Owner of Contact Sports and President/CEO of P3 Productions Group, Inc).  

 

As an executive in human resources and workforce placement she was responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, staffing, and managing hundreds of temporary employees for major transportation companies in local transit districts as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of a three-office staffing agency.

 

Currently, as President and Development Director of Sullivan International, Carole, jointly directs and participates in the design, development, implementation, sales, and marketing of training support projects with West L.A. College (LACCD) and I-Train – Hospitality and Youth Sports Officiating and Game Management.

 

Additionally, she designs and guides staff training and orientation programs for clients in a variety of industries and oversees job placements and on-the-job-training. Since 2015 she has been a certified personal development instructor for workplace readiness and is adjunct faculty at West Los Angeles College in the College and Career Preparation Division.

Jones has produced and conceptualized various events and productions for local and national non-profit and for-profit organizations in the areas of school-based health, sports marketing, fund-raising, human resources, event coordination, managing organizational change, fund development, and project management, having opportunities to work on productions for clients that included: A Tribute to Harry Belafonte for the SCL Foundation (Celebrating the 50 Year Anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement), National Basketball Referees Foundation, WCWMAD Foundation, Eddie Jones Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes, Magic Johnson Foundation, NFL/YET Centers, Team HEAL, Tyra Banks Foundation (T-Zone), United Negro College Fund, Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles, to name a few. 

 

Additionally, as President/CEO of Encore Temps, she has recruited for and managed multiple staffing campaigns for major sports and community events, i.e. The 1984 Olympics, The 1993 NFL Experience, The 1994 World Cup; Partnership ’94 and ’95 Small Business Conferences for the U.S. Department of Treasury.

Jones is the author of and workshop facilitator for “The Philosophy of C.U.T.E., Changing Unmotivated to Empowerment” and “The Philosophy of C.O.O.L., Controlling Our Own Lives”; an expert communicator and a confidence builder provides these contemporary workshops and seminars to gender-specific youth groups, women’s organizations and a cross section of business professionals and owners.

Carole Y. Jones was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina and for over 35 years has worked and lived in Los Angeles, California. She studied English at SUNY at Buffalo and Journalism at the University of South Carolina while raising a family as she pursued her myriad successful entrepreneurial endeavors.

 

Her unconventional quest of formal post-secondary education spanned over several years until she enrolled at American InterContinental University (AIU Online) and eventually completed coursework for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Human Resources in 2013. 

She is a mother, grandmother, and world traveler who loves sports and adventure.
